Patty Hou Pei Chen is daughter of a former well-known Taiwanese actress and a TV producer. Patty is a double degree holder with major in mass communication and minor in psychology from USC, Los Angeles.Patty Hou was inducted as a trainee reporter in year 2001 and began to get noticed as English news anchor at CTI channel in 2002.In 2003 Patty was appointed as primetime news anchor for Era channel, and since then regarded as Taiwan prettiest news anchor.
In 2004 Patty crossed into the entertainment world as Azio entertainment news anchor and hosted a fashion related TV show.
Patty Hou was rumored attached with numerous celebrities including singers, actors and other rich and famous. It was however in 2005 that her Mr. Right was revealed, Patty and Taiwan popular singer Jay Chou was in love.
